May Fly Green Winged Drake (Dry Fly)
The term ‘Drake’ originates from the feathers used in the wing of this fly. It is tied in a ‘fan wing’ style. Used on the surface it will catch Rainbow trout and Brown trout. Dry Flies are designed to float on the surface of the water. Trout Dry Flies imitate a wide variety of flies and insects which inhabit the surface of the water. There is nothing like using dry flies and watching trout rise to the surface.
