The Pulsar Thermal Imaging Scope Telos LRF XG50 is the new concept of a retrofittable monocular thermal imaging camera. This series of thermal imaging devices is the first on the market to offer the possibility of technical hardware upgrades. The components of the Telos can be replaced with new components with improved functions. The owner does not have to purchase a new device every time a new technology is introduced. Telos is designed to be time- and future-proof and to continuously adapt to the ever-changing needs of hunters. With Pulsar’s new retrofitting concept, your Telos becomes a renewable device.
Activate the haptic feedback function in the Telos short menu for more tactile and intuitive use of the Pulsar Premium handheld devices. The thermal imaging camera responds with short vibrations when you press the control buttons.
Ideally, you can adjust the image in the Telos with one hand – the rings for focus and smooth zoom are located in the classic arrangement on the lens, one after the other, as with professional camera lenses. The uniform arrangement of the rings makes it possible to quickly and with little effort obtain a clear image with the desired magnification.
Correctly estimating the distance to the target object is an essential factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometre allows distance measurements in single and continuous measuring modes with an accuracy of approximately 1 metre for a fast and error-free assessment of the situation.
Telos thermal imaging devices are designed for use in harsh outdoor areas and in the temperature range of -25 to +40 °C. This means that the thermal imaging device is waterproof even when completely submerged in water. The rubberized housing made of polymer composite material offers the best operating properties. The design without protruding parts and the ergonomically optimal housing shape of the Telos thermal imaging devices contribute to safety and comfort during long-term use.
The quick-change Li-Ion battery LPS 7i guarantees an operating time of more than 8 hours. The LPS 7i does not require any special chargers: simply connect it to a power adapter via the USB Type-C port and charge it in no time using the Power Delivery fast charging protocol. The LPS 7i battery also supports wireless charging.
The rubberized housing ensures that the thermal imaging device lies securely in the hand in both dry and rainy weather. The housing is extremely durable and is perfectly resistant to extreme temperatures and the influence of dust and moisture. It also protects the device in the event of a fall. In addition, the housing is easy to clean and retains its original appearance for a long time.
Thanks to the vertical, symmetrical layout of the controls, the Telos can be operated with both hands with equal comfort: the buttons are located in a row on the top and the lens rings are used for focusing and changing the magnification.
