Tanaka .45 Gas Revolver
- Originally manufactured in 1873, The Colt Single Action Army (SAA) is a gun that symbolizes America’s western pioneering era.
- Although specifications changed several times, the 45 Long Colt caliber nicknamed the “Peace Maker” is a long-lived gun.
- The models from the time when production resumed after WW2 in 1956 until 1974 are called the second generation which this model is based on.
- The second generation model saw lots of use in post-war Western movies.
- This is the 7 1/2 inch nickel finish model with an extremely impressive heavy weight ABS construction with lots of metals parts.
- As you would expect from Tanaka, it looks and feels convincingly realistic, with no rattles or plastic creaking with full Period-Correct Markings.
- Holds 15 bbs loaded from the front of the cylinder, with the option of loading an additional 10 along the ejector rod segment.
- Gas is charged into the cylinder by rotating until the valve is exposed through the shell ejection window.
- This is a gas powered gun, Tanaka recommends using 144a low pressure gas.
- You need to half cock the hammer to rotate the cylinder.
- Uses Tanaka’s patented “Pegasus II” System which has improved performance from older versions.
- If you cock the gun by mistake, you can manually decock it without firing it.
- The hammer & trigger are smooth to operate, with satisfying cylinder clicks on rotation.
- The gun in contrast to most airsoft revolvers has an adjustable hop-up which can be adjusted using a small flathead screwdriver, which significantly increases its range.
- Adjustable hop up screw is located underneath the hammer. Small careful adjustments should be made test firing when necessary. Hammer must be cocked to adjust.
- An excellent gun for plinking, display or as a collectors piece. Not recommended for skirmishing.
- Fires at: 150-200fps
- Weighs: 840g
